Admission fees and visitor services
The “George Enescu” National Museum will reopen for the public, at all its three headquarters: Bucharest. Sinaia and Tescani starting with May 20, 2020.
The temporary visiting program will be from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10.00 -17.00, in accordance with the protection measures against COVID 19.
1.Visiting
1.1.Entrance fees
- adults: 10 lei per person;
- senior citizens: 5 lei per person;
- other reduced tickets*: 2,5 lei per person (75 % off);
*holders of Euro<26 cards, children 6-15 years old, highschool and college students (including those studying at private universities).
1.2. Guided tours - fees*):
- 1 - 10 persons: 50 lei
- 11- 20 persons: 100 lei
- 5 lei/person - audioguide
*) For guided tours, please book at least 24 hours in advance, by calling us at 021.318.14.50 or 0040747.290.104 or by sending an e-mail at office@georgeenescu.ro. We kindly ask you to tell us the date and time of your arrival, the guiding language (Romanian, English, French) and the profil of your group.
1.3. FREE ENTRANCE
1.3.1. Tickets are free of charge for:
- official delegations and other delegations in the cultural domain;
- employees of : the Romanian museum’s network
the National Research Institute for Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage
the Ministry of Culture and other departments subordinated to the Ministry of Culture;
- members of ICOM, ICOMOS, UNESCO, UCMR, UCIMR, ADA, SACEM;
- war veterans, persons with disabilities (including the person accompanying them);
- preschoolers, children up to 18 years old needing special care or having disabilities, the person accompanying them and children in need of social protection measures;
- children up to 18 years old, during vacations;
- professors, teachers, and students of music schools in Romania, as well as Romanian students studying abroad, or holding scholarships given by the Romanian state;
1.3.2. Free entrance on the 26th day of each month.
2. CONCERTS:
2.1. TICKETS PRICES
- adults: 6 lei per person;
- senior citizens: 3 lei per person;
- summer time concerts and well-established artist: 12 lei per person;
- special recitals: 100 lei per person;
- other reduced tickets*: 1,5 lei, 2,50 lei or 25 lei per person (75 % off)
* children up to 15 years old, highschool and college students (including those studying at private universities).
2.2. TICKETS ARE FREE OF CHARGE FOR:
- official delegations and other delegations in the cultural domain;
- employees of : the Romanian museum’s network

3. TAKING PHOTOS, VIDEO RECORDING
3.1. Taking photographs – fees:
- amateurs (for non-commercial use, no flash or tripod): 30 lei;
- professionals: 1500 lei per hour.
3.2. FILMING FEES:
- professionals: 2000 lei per hour.
3.3. For commercials, advertisements, television programmes, documentaries, music videos, please contact our staff. The fee will be negotiated through a contract.
4. COPYING AND/OR SCANNING SERVICES
- Photocopies of printed scores and/or library materials from the documentary resources*) - 3 lei/page. A4
- Scanning of sheet music and/or library materials from the documentary collection (150 dpi) and copying on museum media (CD, DVD) - 3 lei/A4 page + 2 lei/media
- Scanning of documents from the cultural heritage (150 dpi) - exclusively on the basis of a motivation and following the conclusion of a contract - and copying on museum media (CD, DVD) - 10 lei/page + 2 lei/support
- Scanning of musical manuscripts - exclusively on the basis of a motivation and following the conclusion of a contract - 50 lei/page
*) Exclusively in the situation where the condition of the document allows it George Enescu National Museum will not charge the rates listed above for copying and/or scanning services provided in connection with the organization of cultural events, in the event that the Ministry of Culture is the organizer/co-organizer of these cultural actions/events.
