Admission fees and visitor services

“George Enescu” National Museum pays tribute to the memory of the Romanian composer by organizing exhibitions dedicated to this great personality and also by organizing three concert seasons at the premises of all the three main departments of the museum – Cantacuzino Palace in Bucharest (every Tuesday, at 18:30, in the museum’s hall room), “George Enescu” Memorial House in Sinaia, with the support of the Cultural Centre in Busteni (at the Cultural Centre, on Saturday, at 18:00) and “Dumitru and Alice Rosetti-Tescanu – George Enescu” Department in Tescani, Bacau county (monthly concert).

The Tuesday series concerts in Bucharest aim to promote mainly Romanian compositions, honouring the Enescu’s work. On the other hand, the Wednesday concert series, as well as the concerts in Busteni and Tescani present remarkable interpretations and a large variety of genres from the universal musical repertory.

“George Enescu” National Museum hosts permanent exhibitions in each of the three departments, dedicated to the life and work of George Enescu.

1. MUSEUM VISIT FEES

• Adults - 6 lei/ticket;
• Senior citizens - 2 lei/ticket;
• Euro < 26 card holders (under 30 years old) - 2 lei/ticket;
• Pupils and students: 1,5 lei/ticket.

FREE ENTRANCE TO THE MUSEUM

The admission is free for the following visitor categories:

• Nursery school children;
• Children under 18 years old, with special needs, under social protection programmes;
• Children under 18 years old, during school holidays;
• Pupils and students of Romanian citizenship, from abroad, holders of Romanian state scholarships;
• Employees of museums, of Romanian National Research Institute in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, employees of the Romanian Ministry of Culture, Religious Affairs and Cultural Heritage and its county public services.

2. CONCERT FEES:

From October 2010, the Museum has new fees for concerts:Din luna octombrie 2010, Muzeul percepe următoarele tarife pentru intrarea la concerte:

• Adults - 6 lei/ticket;
• Senior citizens - 3 lei/ticket;
• Pupils and students: 1,5 lei/ticket.

3. PHOTOGRAPHY FEES:

• Amateurs photography, for personal use - 100 lei / 15 minutes;
• Professional photography - 1000 lei / hour.

4. VIDEO CAMERA SHOT FEES:

• Amateurs, for personal use - 50 lei / 30 minutes;
• Professionals - 1500 lei / hour.
